So, since I made my write-a-thin goal and got to the 64k mark with The Fall Line, I've taken some time off to play with graphics that I'll use to promote my books. Here's a peek at what I've come up with so far--
I know, it sounds vaguely obscene. Didn't mom warn you about the pic monkey? Seriously though, pic monkey is an ap with which you can edit pictures and create collages and such. I found out about it from author friend Renee Vincent, who suggested it for making ads and banners. (If you'd like to give it a whirl, you can find it here: http://www.picmonkey.com/) So, since I made my write-a-thin goal and got to the 64k mark with The Fall Line, I've taken some time off to play with graphics that I'll use to promote my books. Here's a peek at what I've come up with so far-- It's a learning process, but I'm thinking not bad for someone who's never played with the monkey before. Kinda fun, too. I think I'm going to go do some more.
