I've long been in love with the poems of Pablo Neruda and when thinking about how best to express how I feel about the literary women's fiction I write, his beautiful words come to mind. "This path, starry and blue as the night, this never-ending simple tenderness. "  We are, all of us, on a path starry and blue, at night because we don't always know where we are going. We don't always understand what compels us to go.   At times the journey is light, and our hearts expand with joy. At times the journey is difficult and our hearts are wrenched to the breaking point. Always, there is tenderness in these fragile, beautiful lives we live.
I love these stories  the best, though they are often the more difficult ones to tell. They come from deep inside my heart and I hope they will touch yours.
This path, starry and blue as the night, this never-ending simple tenderness.
